Professional experience:
For the past 26 years I have been working as a free-lance translator in all the areas of expertise I’m familiar with: literature, subtitling of movies, philosophy, religions, tourism, journalism and art. I have given seminars and courses in Spanish and in English, both in Argentina and abroad (Australia, England and Spain). I have written and sold original screenplays and a novel both in English and in Spanish.
I also hold a Master in Oriental Studies, specialized in Chinese Philosophy and Literature, and worked as full professor of both subjects at the Postgraduate School of Oriental Studies of the Universidad Maimónides until 1995. My novel Collateral Man (ISBN 987-43-6563-3), originally written in English, was also published in my own translation to Spanish as El Garante in 2003 (ISBN 987-43-6562-5). Both versions are available in regular and online bookstores both in Argentina and abroad. My screenplay Apasionados (directed by J.J. Jusid and produced by TELEFE) turned into the top Argentine blockbuster in 2002. Qualifications:
